David and Josie Silver and their two sons are a Messianic Jewish family from Auckland, New Zealand. In obedience, they initiated Alia paperwork and in August 1992 they were in an absorption centre in Haifa. After living in very basic conditions for seven months while learning Hebrew, God led them to rent an apartment on Mount Carmel. For the next three years the Silvers fellowshipped at Carmel Assembly with many other new immigrant families who had also been called in similar ways, to be part of a growing remnant of believers in YESHUA returning to the land of our forefathers. David and Josie believe it is God's will that Messianic Jews return to live in Israel, as well as secular and religious Jews.
