Our Values
-
The Pursuit of Adonai
Our highest value and goal in life is the pursuit of Adonai. The ‘Shema’ in Deuteronomy 6:4,5 expresses this and is reaffirmed by Yeshua in Matthew 22:37,38.
-
The Value of The Individual
We are to value those whom God created in His own image. We have been created in God’s image and are of infinite value in His eyes (Genesis 1:26,27). Therefore we are to love our neighbour as ourselves, the second greatest commandment in the law (Matthew 22:39,40).
-
Our Relationships
Relationships are built upon mutual love , accountability and commitment. We have been called to be a community of believers who are not to use, exploit, manipulate, deceive, or coerce one another. Instead we value the opportunity to build up, encourage, support and celebrate one another.
-
Kingdom of God
We are called to be ambassadors of God’s Kingdom to live and proclaim the whole message and counsel of God in both word and power (2 Corinthians 5:18-21 and Isaiah 61:1-3).
-
Our Stewardship
We have been entrusted to a stewardship and are responsible to be wise and mature as we exercise our gifts, talents, resources and finances to advance God’s Kingdom (1 Corinthians 9:17; 1 Peter 4:10).
-
Marriage and the Family
Our desire is to help families grow to be strong and healthy. We value husbands and wives strengthening their covenant relationships with each other. We aim to provide a support system for families and individuals who are facing trials (Psalm 127:2,3; Proverbs 24:3,4; Ephesians 5).
-
Children
Children are treasures from Adonai and it is essential for us that we create an environment where they can thrive and grow in their walk with Yeshua (Isaiah 59:12; Psalm 127:5; Deuteronomy 6:6-8; Deuteronomy 4:9)
-
Messianic Identity
We value our Jewish heritage and identity and and we encourage Jewish followers of Yeshua to remain part of God’s call to and preservation of Israel.
-
Unity
We value unity within the body of Messiah and we desire to dwell together in one accord.
