Weekly Update: May 11th

Shalom Everyone:

It is so wonderful to have the sunshine back. Enjoy your weekend. See this week’s update. There are a lot of things happening at Beth Shechinah this month that we hope you will take advantage of. This Shabbat Rabbi Cal will be teaching a message on the two bitter sweet days between Passover and Shavuot. Yom Hashoah and Yom Haatzmaut. Out of the ashes of the holocaust Israel was birthed as a nation and will be celebrating 76 years as a modern day nation…

Next week Rabbi Jack Zimmerman from Jewish Voice in Arizona will be speaking Friday night and Saturday morning.

The following week we have an exciting course on the Holy Spirit that Rabbi Michael Gertsman from Israel will be teaching. We all need to understand more about the ministry of the Holy Spirit. I encourage you to consider registering for this important class. See the brochure for more information.

Continue to keep Israel in prayer. We are into day 218 with no end in sight. In fact things could become more intense as Israel faces a major threat on their northern border.

Blessings in Yeshua
Rabbi Cal Goldberg

“Arise and have mercy and compassion on Zion, for the time to favor her the appointed time has come.“ Psalm 102:13

Beth Shechinah has a new ministry called “Give and Take“.

If you have items to give or items you need –

This ministry is based on Proverbs 19:17 –
“One who is kind to the poor lends to Adonai,
and Adonai will reward him for his good deed.“

Also, 2 Corinthians 8:14 –
“At present your abundance can help those in need; so that when you are in need, their abundance can help you – so that there may be equality.”

The need for this ministry first became apparent when many Ukrainian refugees began to attend the congregation.

The ministry will work this way:

Stephanie and Michael Braun will now be heading up our Give and Take Ministry. They have storage space available and also have the ability to deliver items as needed.

If you have good quality items available to donate or if you have a particular need for an item – please contact the Brauns. The email address to contact is:
